RESOURCE SHARING ASSISTANT, MIT Libraries, to process requests, verify citations, and communicate policies to patrons in support of interlibrary lending and borrowing operations, using systems like ILLiad, RAPID, and ReShare to fulfill requests, resolve issues, and assist library users. Responsibilities include scanning materials, supporting library service points, and handling material pick-up, sorting, and transport across MIT campuses, including occasional deliveries via van.The Resource Sharing Assistant will develop expertise in access services, troubleshoot problems, and may contribute to documentation, hiring, or supervising student employees. Participation in library committees and special projects is encouraged.
