Job Description

SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) REPRESENTATIVE, TALENT ACQUISITION, Human Resources, to perform a variety of job posting, applicant tracking system (ATS) administration, recruitment advertising, and other duties in support of the talent acquisition function. Will review and edit posting descriptions, ensure U.S. Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and conformity with the HR job catalog and/or MIT Policies and Procedures, and post them on the MIT website; consult with MIT departments, labs, centers, and Institutes (DLCIs) on recruitment advertising for staff and faculty positions; serve as an administrator for the ATS, i.e., troubleshooting, day-to-day maintenance, reporting, etc.; provide instruction/training on the use of the ATS; and advise hiring managers regarding MIT and/or HR processes, procedures, and policies along with those related to job postings and the OFCCP. May review resumes and interview candidates for administrative and financial positions in support of recruiters as time allows. A full job description is available here (https://hr.mit.edu/sites/default/files/20240715HRrep.pdf) .Job RequirementsREQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; five years of relevant experience; writing, editing, prooing, interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and customer service skills; tact and discretion with confidential information/issues; proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems (currently PeopleFluent), and web navigation/research; comfort with and ability to adapt to change; attention to detail; and ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with a variety of people at all levels. PREFERRED: knowledge of HR/MIT policies and procedures and relevant OFCCP rules/regulations (i.e., Internet Applicant Recordkeeping Rule), especially those related to basic qualifications; familiarity with human capital management systems; and education beyond a high school diploma.
