The Role:We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to support finance business partnering activities to the Clinical, US Medical, and Regulatory teams. The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for monthly close activities and partnering with business owners to develop quarterly reforecasts and annual budget.This position will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and be located in the Waltham, MA office. What You’ll Do:Partner with budget owners to provide value-added financial analysis and support of business reviews and decisions from the financial perspective, including but not limited to operational efficiency and cost saving opportunities Collaborate with budget owners to build annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for external expenses Drive month-end close activities by working in close collaboration with the Clinical, US Medical, Regulatory, and accounting teams to develop accruals and improve accrual processes Manage to Board of Directors approved annual budget, including facilitating tradeoff discussions in collaboration with other FP&A team members as business priorities change Lead analysis of financial results versus plan and forecasts, investigations of significant variances, and communication of findings to departments, program teams, and senior management Proactively identify areas for operational efficiencies and lead change management and process improvement activities
