Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring all salaries, bonuses, commissions, time worked, and deductions are processed correctly.
Ensure accurate tax and benefits deductions while troubleshooting any payroll-related issues.
Reconcile payroll with the general ledger and monthly bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
Handle payroll adjustments, direct deposits, and reissued checks when needed.
File federal and state payroll taxes and assist with sales tax filings.
Collaborate with HR and accounting to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies with a proactive approach.
Requirements
What You Bring:
2+ years of direct payroll processing experience with systems like Paycor, Paylocity, ADP, UKG, Paychex, or similar platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills – you know how to chase down answers and resolve issues efficiently.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies before they become problems.
Prior experience performing payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – you’ll manipulate payroll data between ERP and HRIS systems to ensure everything reconciles.
