SoulCycle is seeking inspiring leaders in the fitness industry to learn and teach our rhythm-based class arc and brand experience in studios across the country and internationally.  SoulCycle offers both part-time and full-time opportunities for qualified instructors. Through our training program, the potential instructor will be taught our method and mission to inspire our riders in an uplifting and inclusive way.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle brand and culture, be an active community builder, and commit to teaching in a faced-paced, dynamic, hospitality-focused environment.This position will report to the regional Talent Manager. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.Role Expectations:Teach an on-brand class, SoulCycle experience. Arrive on time, 20 min before class start timeBe proactive, professional and timely in all communications. Monitor and drive against your targets and performance goals (including but not limited to paid rides, frequency, rider retention). This information can be found in your instructor flash report. Invest & participate in development, feedback & continuing education opportunities. Recognize & embrace the shifting dynamics of each studio, audience, time slot Be aware of your riders and keep class inclusive, making sure they feel successful & celebrated. Remember that you cannot see every dimension of diversity) Be a brand ambassador inside and outside of the studio and online.Build and sustain relationships with riders and colleagues Availability Requirements:Open availability for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidaysPart-time Instructors are expected to have at least 3 days of availability, equal to an average of 20 hours per week, with at least one of those days being a Saturday or Sunday.Availability submitted at time of hire must be adhered to for at least six monthsAbility to teach a minimum of four holidays per yearInstructors are expected to work at least 4 of the following holidays in the US: 4th of July, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day (US).Typically we ask for 2 of 4 summer holidays and 2 of 3 winter holidaysIn the UK New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Bank Holiday, Spring Bank Holiday, Summer Bank Holiday, Christmas Day (closed), Boxing Day (UK)
