The MBTA Maintenance Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Michigan Branch of the Telluride Association (MBTA), a scholarship house in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves managing regular building inspections, handling repairs and maintenance requests, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. The position requires hands-on maintenance work across multiple disciplines including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, groundskeeping, and general repairs. In addition, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for keeping maintenance records, working within budget, and assisting with annual budget planning.
This position reports directly to the Michigan Program Manager and works closely with kitchen and office staff, as well as student residents and the student Employee Coordinator(s).
Position Type: Hourly Non-Exempt, Regular Part-Time
Work Schedule: 20 hours per week during M-F business hours, set schedule coordinated with supervisor. Evening and weekend hours are occasionally required.
