Seeking a full time Live-In Caregiver for our 90 year old father who resides on the north side of Ann Arbor, to supplement the care and support that our family already provides for him. Responsibilities involve physically assisting with getting into and out of bed, providing standby assistance while walking around the home, encouraging hydration/light exercises throughout the day, and assisting with dressing, toileting and weekly showering. Adult son who also lives in the home provides medication management, meal preparation, health monitoring, manages most household tasks and supports/works in tandem with Live-In Caregiver.
Seeking candidates that have the strength and ability to assist with transfers in and out of bed or with other mobility that may arise, have some experience as a senior caregiver, and are conscientious, caring, attentive and reliable. Flexible hours/schedule and ability to come and go for short and more extended periods of time (especially in the mid to late afternoon and evening), with significant amounts of downtime throughout the day/evening. (Overnight off-hours are midnight -10:30 a.m.)
