Position Summary

Associate Consultants are responsible for supporting the team through a variety of activities, among them: recruiting, and consulting projects (reports, assessment, workshop development, etc). Each day will be a little different.

We want to grow the skill set of our employees and thus we offer a great learning environment where you will receive hands-on training and mentoring. This position's hours are 30-35 hours per week. Our new team member needs to be in the office Monday-Friday. The starting compensation is $15 an hour with paid time off and opportunities for raises every 6 months. We do not offer benefits beyond this. There will be opportunities to advance within the organization. As we are a part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, we are based in the SPARK East incubator in downtown Ypsilanti, MI.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting activities, such as: sourcing and reviewing talent, scheduling interviews, etc.

Manage communication and relationships with candidates.

Support various HR consulting projects as assigned.

Managing and maintaining sensitive data.

Support overall recruiting goals and processes.

Admin duties as assigned, such as answering phone and data management.

Required Qualifications

Strong attention to detail.

General HR interest or education.

Team orientation while working autonomously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, or related field.

Recruitment experience.

Project management experience.

Desire to work in a small company.
