We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients in the food service industry by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, with a particular focus on large conveyor pizza ovens.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in a variety of equipment, with a strong focus on diagnosing and repairing complex issues specific to conveyor ovens.
Perform repairs efficiently and effectively, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and electronics diagnostic equipment.
Replace faulty parts and ensure equipment operates safely and within specifications.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks to minimize equipment downtime and extend lifespan.
Maintain clear and concise service records, documenting all work performed and parts used using company provided mobile applications.
Effectively communicate with customers to complete repair solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing and repairing equipment in the field.
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and manuals.
Excellent problem-solvingand analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Certifications in relevant technical fields.
Experience working with preventative maintenance programs.
