Vacancy expired!
We are looking for someone to help us part time doing winter maintenance on our trucks and equipment over the next couple of months as well as odd jobs around our shop. It would be a part time position, roughly 2-3 days per week depending on schedules. It would be a fixed schedule Tuesday-Thursday (flexible as needed) We are primarily a landscape construction and building company.
Looking for someone with some basic mechanical and handyman aptitude and background- will be doing things such as changing oil, brake work, small engine repairs, and other maintenance type items. This could also be a good chance to pick up some further knowledge from our mechanic- we do all of our own repairs and fabrication in house including welding, painting, and truck and trailer fabrication. You would be working on small dump trucks, skidsteers, mini excavators, trailers, small engines, etc.
On days with decent weather there may be outdoor maintenance projects and work on some smaller scale outdoor building and landscape work. No Snow Removal.
Ideally with the right candidate this could transition into helping us with outdoor construction work as the winter breaks full time.
We are happy to help train and don't expect an expert in the field, but I will expect some basic background and experience working on, fixing, and building things.
Please send a brief statement of your background and a copy of a resume and I will reach out shortly. Thank you.
