Overview: As a Cleaner/Laborer Associate in a construction cleaning company, your roles and responsibilities involve providing essential support to the cleaning team and performing various labor tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety at construction sites.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Cleaning Tasks: Assist with a variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces. Clean construction debris, dust, and dirt from floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.

Debris Removal: Assist in removing construction debris, rubbish, and waste materials from work areas and dispose of them properly according to company procedures and waste management regulations.

Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites for cleaning operations by moving furniture, equipment, and materials as needed to facilitate cleaning activities. Assist in setting up safety barriers, signs, and caution tape to create safe work zones.

Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Assist in setting up and operating cleaning equipment and machinery such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and power tools. Help with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor promptly.

Support to Team Lead: Assist the Team Lead or supervisor in coordinating cleaning activities, organizing work schedules, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel at construction sites to coordinate activities, report progress, and address any issues or concerns that may arise during cleaning operations.

Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions and requirements at construction sites. Be willing to learn new tasks and skills and assist with other duties as needed to support the team and project goals.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the company at construction sites. Treat clients, coworkers, and members of the public with respect and courtesy.

Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of work activities, including time sheets, work orders, and inventory logs. Provide support in completing required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for learning and skill development to enhance your performance and contribute to the success of the team and company. Be receptive to feedback and suggestions for improving cleaning processes and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 weekly

Schedule:

8 hour day shift - Monday to Friday

Requirements:

Must have: reliable transportation, personal phone, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100lbs, good communication skills, and are teachable.
