Description We are offering a contract to permanent hire opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this position, you will be a key part of our operations, providing crucial support to our service desk, managing server administration, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Responsibilities Ensuring prompt and effective resolution of end-user issues by managing incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, and email. Using remote tools and diagnostic utilities to facilitate support requests resolution. Performing direct fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not sufficient, including hardware repairs and delivery of peripherals. Installing and configuring hardware and software components across various network infrastructure devices. Administering servers via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP. Managing and maintaining network firewall and switch. Upholding company safety and security standards. Participating in network and server solution design and architecture. Prioritizing incidents and service requests in accordance with defined processes to meet SLAs.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role Proficiency in Cisco Technologies Well-versed in Cloud Technologies Knowledge of Firewall Technologies is a must Experience with Active Directory Familiarity with Backup Technologies Proficient in Windows and Mac OS Ability to perform Basic Network Troubleshooting Experience in Server Administration Comfortable with both Hardware and Software Proficiency in O 365 Knowledge of VMware is required, familiarity with Linux is a plus Occasional local travel for onsite client support on an as needed basisTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
