The Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) at ICFS-Detroit provides direct counseling and
recovery support services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role
is responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, facilitating individual and
group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with
multidisciplinary team members to promote long-term recovery and wellness.
Current certification or licensure as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC),
CADC, or equivalent credential recognized by the State of Michigan.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or
related field preferred.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals
with substance use disorders.
