Description
Senior Cloud Security Engineer will lead efforts to secure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. The role includes guiding and mentoring team members in cloud-related issues, security incidents, and implementing cloud security best practices. Additionally, the Senior Cloud Security Engineer will assist in monitoring, analysis, and investigation of security events within the environment.
Required Experience
4+ years working in Information Security with least 3 years Azure security experience.
Extensive experience with a wide variety of Microsoft Azure products and services.
Cloud security including IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS.
Cybersecurity frameworks such as CSM, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. A General understanding of COBIT is preferred.
Experience with Python, .Net or C# or equivalent.
Experience with writing tools, automation, and enhancements.
Experience with PowerShell/Scripting, Windows Services infrastructure to automate day to day activities.
Required flexibility to work outside of business hours in the event of an emergency.
Team-oriented collaborative environment.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
Preferred Experience / Credentials
One of following certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security +; SANS-GIAC certification (GCIH, GREM, GNFA, GPEN, GWAPRT), EC-Council CEH, or other relevant security certifications.
Healthcare and/or Finance experience.
Duration: 6-month contract to start.
