As a Powertrain Controls Software Engineering Intern you will support in developing power-train and connected software solutions for embedded control systems for automotive applications such as vehicle control unit (VCU), propulsion - combustion, hybrid & electric - control unit (ECU) and transmission control unit (TCU) as a member of Bosch global development team working on the latest generation micro-controllers, microprocessors, and AUTOSAR standards in a highly dynamic, fast paced work environment.Perform rapid-prototyping to support functional requirement development.Develop manual and model based code according to specification.Deep dive analysis improving hardware-software interfaces and developing automated test software for software testing.Test and validate new software features in the vehicle, on an engine dynamometer, on a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), and/or Model-in-the-Loop (MiL)Debug/troubleshoot software.Participate in program review meetings, interface studies, design review.Support customer test trips in hot, cold and high altitude environments and provide local expertise for software functions.
