$250 Sign-on Bonus. The sign-on bonus is paid after 90 days of full-time active employment as a MDI regular full-time plant employee. MDI Worldwide is a leading national signage and display manufacturer based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are looking for a Quality Tech. The major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to; perform routine audits on all production lines and finished goods. Inspect visually for obvious defects in product such as; dents, scratches, proper fitting and audit packaging. Effectively communicate with co-workers while always working towards the highest standards of quality, efficiency, safety, and housekeeping. This position also serves as back-up to Quality Leader. Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and mandatory overtime as needed. $16.50/hour - $19.00/hour Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand engineering prints.
Proficient in metrology and the use of various inspection devices.
Good working knowledge of manufacturing industry standards relating to quality systems and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Data entry skills required to perform job function.
Associates Degree & QA Certifications preferred.
