This includes advising on technical measures (i.e. investigations, remediation), as well as internal cost tracking and alignment with insurances and sellers to ensure cost coverage according to existing insurance policies and legal agreementFocus will be on environmental compliance, e.g. soil and groundwater impacts, but also hazardous building materials.Responsible for instructing technical staff at site level and for documenting investigation and remediation measures as well as initiating further measuresProfessional understanding of the US and Canada soil and groundwater protection regulations and laws, as well as the legal framework legislation in the environmental sectorIn close cooperation with our lead experts in Germany you coordinate framework agreements with globally active environmental consultants (In North America, we have Master Service Agreements (MSA) with 3 consultants - AECOM, WSP and Woodard & Curran.
