Trade Show Manager

Location: US Remote, near a major airline hub (with extensive travel required) We are seeking an Trade Show Manager to join our dynamic team at Mango Languages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing trade shows and events from start to finish, ensuring that each event aligns with our brand and supports our sales and accounts teams. This role requires extensive travel and flexibility, as well as strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. The Trade Show Manager will collaborate with various teams, including Creative Services, Sales, and Social Media, to drive successful event promotions and engagement. Key Responsibilities

Organize trade shows and offsite events from start to finish, including event registration, setup and teardown, booth and branded area arrangements, and promotional material inventory.

Conduct pre- and post-event briefing sessions.

Lead post-event discussions with sales and accounts teams, prepare evaluation reports, and recommend improvements.

Arrange travel and accommodation for staff attending events.

Provide Creative Services Project Manager with tasks and requirements for event-related projects (emails, landing pages, creative files, images, videos, social media, materials, etc.).

Pull and process lead lists post-tradeshow using HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems, coordinate with sales and accounts teams, and ensure timely delivery to Creative Services.

Research, pitch, and drive promotional activities for events, coordinating with Creative Services on speaking opportunities, awards, media activities, and advertising.

Identify, pitch, and execute sponsorship, speaking, and engagement opportunities, and develop potential partnerships.

Train and supervise event staff and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and role expectations.

Manage procurement and client service needs related to catering, audiovisual, security, and rental needs.

Work with Creative Services, Social Media, and team captains to define and execute event promotions, driving attendance and engagement.

Manage event budgets, forecast future budgets and event plans, and communicate budget status with team captains.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event planning and management.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to travel extensively and manage a remote work environment.

Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems.

Physical Requirements

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Ability to endure long hours of standing or sitting.

Work is performed from a home base of a work-from-home office environment, but with what could be extensive periods of time spent traveling to trade shows and other offsite events. Candidates must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
