This well-established client north of Grand Rapids, Mi and has an immediate Accounts Payable Specialist need! The Accounts Payable Specialist will assist in the daily operations of the Accounting organization and be responsible for Accounts Payable expense reports and 1099 generation in addition to the tasks outlined below: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable paperwork at completion of the check run. Conduct full-cycle A/P
Perform special projects as assigned
Provide support during internal and external audits
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Requirements
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Microsoft Excel experience
Knowledge of data entry
QuickBooks experience highly desired
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Attention to detail
