Please review the job profile below and apply today!This position establishes and implements the strategic direction of Meijer brand at corporate, product and store level; ensure brand consistency by directing content relative to Own Brand product to drive sales, higher margins and increase customer loyalty. It supports the Director Own Brands, Marketing, in collaborating with core Merchandising teams, Brand Planning, Digital, Packaging Creative and Production resources to achieve category goals as well as ensure the on-time execution of Marketing and Brand projects..What You’ll be Doing:

Develops and directs branding initiatives in alignment with corporate goals relative to overall brand and Own Brand.

Lead OBL collaboration with Merchant Partners on core Merchandising elements related to Own Brand business based on customer behavior data, including but not limited to pricing strategy, digital experience, category review, shopper insights and strategic vendor partnerships.

Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to OBLs in order to build functional expertise and achieve category and company goals.

Escalates brand awareness and maintain a positive, consistent corporate brand image.

Leads cross-functional teams, internal and external, to ensure consistency of the brand voice through all creative relative to product.

Responsible for driving specific brand guidelines and principles to be applied cross category

Creates, manages, updates and communicates brand resource materials.

Manages the artistic translation of the company’s brand strategy into Own Brand package designs.

Responsible for executing and delivering results with marketing spend for specific brand of responsibility

Provides brand guidance/briefs for specific marketing projects within brand of responsibility

Oversee and enable approval process for brand projects (i.e. packaging) ensuring brand consistency and customer brand promise

Lead, develop and manage project timelines, as well as facilitate weekly team and project meetings.

Creates status reports to ensure proactive and consistent project communication, updates and issues with key stakeholders and Director, Own Brand.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

5 years management experience preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate with others, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels.

Must have strong project management and multi-tasking ability.

Construction management experience also desirable.
