Description We are in search of a Receptionist to join our team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, performing duties such as receiving visitors, managing inbound calls, and handling mail and packages.Responsibilities Answering multi-line phone system and directing calls appropriately Greeting and assisting guests in a professional and friendly manner Managing front desk activities and maintaining a neat and organized reception area Distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail, including packages for shipment Providing general administrative support to various departments as needed Ensuring all visitors follow company policies and procedures Managing customer inquiries and resolving them promptly Processing and delivering department mail as required Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions Assisting with additional projects as assigned by management. Requirements Proficiency in performing receptionist duties Experience in a part-time receptionist role Familiarity with medical front office procedures Ability to assist guests effectively and professionally Experience in mail delivery, including department mail and distributing incoming mail Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems Experience in handling and answering inbound calls Knowledge of telephone answering systems Ability to answer phone calls professionally Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent is required.
