Bring your energy and talent to this small waterfront inn and restaurant that sets on beautiful Suttons Bay! As the cook/kitchen manager you will be responsible for but not limited for overseeing operations of the back of the house and maintaining strong relationships to the front of the house in regards to kitchen and food. You will be expected to meet and maintain standards, enforce established food specifications, portion control and sanitation. responsible for controlling food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction. requires advanced knowledge of the principles and techniques within the culinary profession including advanced food costing skills, purchasing and cost control as well as food safety knowledge. Cook will answer directly to owner. We are a full service restaurant with full bar that is open to the public and house guests The venue also provides catering/food truck events such as but not limited to large weddings, rehearsal dinners, family gatherings etc. We own several popular venues that host these events. Must be a friendly people person with a flexible mindset and very driven to work and excel. During the season this job is easily 50+ hours a week. amazing opportunity for the right person compensation is based on experience. must be willing to work hard and takes pride in doing so.
