Description We are offering an opportunity for a Project Coordinator in the manufacturing industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks related to mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and reports. This role requires a high level of organization and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and correspond with various teams within the organization.Responsibilities: Creating detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) reports. Coordinating and collaborating with various disciplines including Project Management, Purchasing, and shop/field foremen. Ensuring the extraction of accurate BOM from fabrication drawings. Resolving work procedures, complaints, and construction problems with supervisory personnel. Working closely with Detailing Manager, Shop Foreman, and shop personnel on drawing inquiries. Maintaining department standards for consistency and recordkeeping. Ensuring code or standard compliance in collaboration with Detailing Manager. Working with QA/QC to ensure all traceability documentation is created and maintained properly. Utilizing tools and technologies such as Plant 3D, Acorn, Navisworks, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. to perform tasks efficiently. Reviewing, marking-up, and modifying drawings from others within the department.
