Job DescriptionTheDepartment of Technology, Management and Budget (https://youtu.be/HIrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB. As an application developer, the employee performs a complete range of information system analyst assignments including, but not limited to, designing, developing, testing, and implementing computer systems and applications for Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This position provides production support, develops, and maintains applications across multiple platforms. Utilizing web development technologies such as JAVA, PL/SQL and other software tools for the Bridges and related projects. Also responsible for the development and maintenance of portions of other related processes in the Eligibility area that support MDHHS. This may include reports and correspondence associated with those processes. Will include the development of documentation in all areas under their responsibility, navigation, data storage, data retrieval, data validation, data manipulation, printing, and other processes.SIGNING BONUS:This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period).
