Payroll Administrator

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator based in Troy, Michigan. The selected individual will be a part of a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry, where they will be tasked with processing payroll, handling time and attendance, and assisting with HR duties when necessary. Responsibilities: Processing payroll for employees on a bi-weekly basis. Managing time and attendance for all staff. Assisting with HR duties, including resolving employee issues. Utilizing Paycom system for efficient payroll processing. Monitoring full cycle payroll to ensure accuracy. Tracking employee attendance and addressing any irregularities. Working independently and adapting to new tasks quickly. Handling any other tasks related to payroll or HR administration as required. Operating "About Time" software for efficient attendance tracking. Performing other benefit functions as required. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency with About Time, Benefit Functions, Paycom, Full Cycle Payroll, Attendance, Attendance tracking, Human Resources (HR) Administration. Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a high-stress environment. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills. Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices. Strong abilities to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
