Massie Manufacturing, Inc., a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication specialist, seeks a General Laborer to join their manufacturing team in Baraga, Michigan. This position will assist the production team in a variety of functions to ensure quality product is produced in a timely manner.

Full-time position working Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm and Friday 6am – 10am.
What You Will Do.
Assist in all areas of production as needed and includes assembly, light-machining, light-welding, de-burring, grinding, and saw cutting.
Use power and hand tools.
Handle, transport, and process product and materials.
Organize and clean work areas as needed.
What We Are Looking For.
Self-motivation and excellent work ethic required.
Valid Chauffeur’s license, or ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s license within 90 days if hired for this position. Company will pay costs for you to take the test and receive your license.
Willingness to be trained and work in a manufacturing/production environment.
Ability to work with hand, air, and electric power tools.
Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
Someone able to follow business rules and guidelines, safe work practices, and proper lifting techniques.
