The snow on the lower two feet of the roof of my rather large house must be removed so as to avoid damage to the vinyl gutter system when the spring thaw comes. If you have the appropriate contractor medical insurance (not just plain health insurance), you can provide me with proof and get on the roof. Otherwise, the work must be done from the ground. I do have a roof rake that works pretty well, although the extensions can come loose if you are pulling hard on a frozen piece. From the ground, it takes about two hours; from the roof, less than half that. On three sides of the house, the snow can be left on the ground. On the front of the house, the snow from the roof will need to be removed from the porch, stairs, front walk, and driveway. Fee is negotiable.
