We are seeking a full-time, skilled diesel mechanic. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with semi-trucks and trailers, ensuring they remain in working condition and on the road. While having a CDL is a plus, it’s not required for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks and trailers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Work on brakes, suspensions, and perform tire changes as needed.
Rebuild diesel engines (a significant benefit).
Occasionally travel to perform field repairs.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience maintaining and repairing semi-trucks and trailers.
Strong diagnostic skills, especially with electrical systems.
Familiarity with air brake systems, suspension repair, and other mechanical troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime.
Experience in diesel engine rebuilding is highly valued.
CDL preferred but not mandatory.
Mostly Kenworth trucks with C15 Caterpillar engines.
