Location: Upper Peninsula

You will make friends at work! Our teams consist of people from all ages and career stages.

The Role: Your mission will vary from strategic “ writing grants, planning the organizations path to achieve goals, to tactical “ pouring over, diagramming, and systematizing information.

Your role is to be the internal voice of our brand, writing consistent, clear and engaging policies. Are you a technical writer who can bend language to your command?

You will be charged with taking lengthy and vague policy issuances, laws and grant verbiage, explaining it to the organization and designing steps for us to consistently carry out whats required. Do you eat information for breakfast?

You will bounce from the c-suite to the front line on projects. We want to deliver services effectively and within the lines. Theres no room for ego on our org chart. Are you a team player?

Projects include:

— Writing plan narratives for all funding sources.

— Responsible for developing and maintaining the Workforce and Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) local and regional plans to accurately reflect agency strategy and practice.

— Supporting Career and Education Advisory Council (CEAC) activities.

— Designing and preparing activities to increase staff comprehension of regulations, compliance requirements, and expectations.

— Gathering data (Labor Market Information, Structured Query Language) and analyzing for the system.

— Writing grant proposals.

— Coordinating Equal Opportunity functions.
