Description Robert Half is partnering with a Legal Client and sourcing for a Litigation Attorney. This role involves representing clients in professional liability cases, handling insurance coverage cases, and managing all aspects of complex litigation matters.Responsibilities: Represent clients in cases involving professional liability such as medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and ethics defense. Manage insurance coverage cases. Direct and oversee all aspects of complex litigation matters, including jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents as required. Counsel clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities. Conduct comprehensive analysis, risk assessment and counseling on various professional ethics matters. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Formulate and implement litigation strategies for complex cases in state and federal courts. Provide high-quality, cost-effective legal representation, emphasizing client communication, simplicity, practicality, and innovation in resolving legal issues. Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients or the firm on the legal ramifications of different strategies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional client service.Requirements Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to practice law in the state. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing lawyer. Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suites. Experience in handling civil litigation and claim administration cases. Demonstrated ability in complaint handling and providing legal advice. Knowledge of professional liability, insurance coverage, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice. Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex legal issues. Excellent legal writing and research skills. Adherence to ethics and professional responsibility. Experience in case management and document management software. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients. Must have an understanding of briefing procedures.
