Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in the Financial Services industry located in Arden Hills, Minnesota, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities, some of which include processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain up-to-date customer credit records Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action based on your observations Utilize your skills in taxation to ensure all financial operations are in compliance with law regulations Develop and implement effective strategies for tax planning and preparation Stay updated with industry trends and tax law changes Provide guidance and support to the team in handling complex tax-related issues Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve the overall efficiency of the financial operations Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the company's code of conduct and ethical standards. Requirements Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required Demonstrated experience in tax accounting within the financial services industry Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns Knowledge of tax software and ability to learn new software quickly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Must possess strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to foster and maintain professional and productive relationships with clients.
