Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the west Metro of Minnesota. As a Controller, you will be pivotal in managing various financial statements and reports, maintaining and directing the operations of general and subsidiary ledgers, payroll administration, and budget planning. Additionally, you will be tasked with the management of cash flow, establishing procedures for asset control, and coordinating internal and external audits.Responsibilities: Lead the creation and review of financial statements and reports. Oversee the management of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses. Administer the payroll system and manage the associated software. Plan and review budget proposals and establish depreciation rates for capital assets. Collaborate with the President to foster and maintain relationships with financial institutions. Oversee the cash flow management and handle financial instruments. Develop procedures for the safekeeping and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities. Investigate and verify the financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit. Assist management in developing credit/collection policies. Coordinate and direct external and internal audits, reviewing accounting and administrative controls. Work alongside external audit and CPA firms to prepare reports.Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Proven experience in auditing and maintaining accurate financial records. Proficient in budget processes, including planning, tracking, and adjusting budgets. Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Extensive experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
