Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collector II based in Eagan, Minnesota. This role is primarily focused on locating and notifying customers with delinquent accounts and soliciting payment. The successful candidate will join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where they will play a key role in maintaining customer accounts and ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer payments and post amounts to corresponding accounts Locate and monitor overdue accounts to mitigate financial risk Engage with customers via telephone or in person to understand the reasons for overdue payments Review terms of sales, services, or credit contracts with customers Persuade customers to settle amounts due on credit accounts, damage claims, or non-payable checks Organize debt repayment plans or establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations Keep comprehensive records of collections and customer interactions Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to collections Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word and other collections software for data entry and record keeping Provide exceptional customer service and exercise strong negotiation skills during interactions with customers.If you are interested please click the APPLY NOW button to submit your resume and reach out to Emily Haan directly at 952-882-9399 for immediate consideration.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service and Sales. Thorough understanding of Collection Processes, Procedures, and Company Policy. Experience in Payment Processing, Check Processing, and handling Delinquencies. Ability to review and interpret Contracts. Familiarity with use of Microsoft Word and other relevant Computer Programs. Proficiency in Merchandising and Negotiation. Experience in handling Customer Accounts and Overdrafts. Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks. Knowledge of Credit and Regulation in the financial sector. Experience with Claim Administration. Strong Written Communication skills. Familiarity with the "About Time" software is a plus. Understanding of Repayment strategies and tactics. Prior experience as a Collector is beneficial.
