Purpose:  As an Electrical Designer intern at Knobelsdorff (KE) you will be aligned with a primary division but while also coordinating with the other divisions to gain additional process and project specific exposure and learning. You will be working closely with our Design, Pre-Construction and Project teams to observe the design-build process of industrial projects, you will gain exposure to details that directly impact the successful execution of electrical projects of all scopes and sizes. Details and Processes You May Observe/Have Exposure to: Coordinating work and construction documents with internal stakeholders.Modeling of equipment and raceways.Exposure to industry specific software tools for design and analysis of project specifics.Designing and working with electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards, switchgear, motor control centers, panel boards, and control cabinets.Create and edit schedules such as panel schedules and conduit/cable schedules.Project specific equipment, installation and quality exposure in coordination between internal and external design personnel and construction personnel.On site exposure to build comprehension of drawing details to construction activities.
