Job-Specific Tasks and DutiesAs a agent with Expeditors you will take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate pick up and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver. You will provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards. You will communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients. This is an entry level position that provides opportunity for advancement based on success. Heavy focus on ground/road freight and warehousing/distribution which includes basic warehouse activities/inventory management. Strong training program available to develop skillset with leading global logistics provider.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace truck transportation shipments and reportingCoordinate domestic and/or international shipmentsEnsure accurate and timely client billingLearn US Export and Dangerous Goods compliance regulationsContribute and maintain good relationships with suppliersMeet both company and US compliance standards at all times Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policyPhysical DemandsUse of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc.  Use of standard Warehouse equipment - pallet jack, scanners, forkliftWrite with pencil/pen/markerFunctions performed both at a desk and within the warehouseAttend meetings in alternate locations i.e. conference room for collaboration and training purposes
