Building Automation Account ManagerMetropolitan Mechanical Contractors (MMC) powered by APi Group, is seeking a relationship focused and result-driven owner direct Account Manager to join the Building Automation team.Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for initiating customer contact, recommending innovative HVAC Automation solutions, quoting and fulfilling sales requests while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

MMC's owner direct team is responsible for conveying MMC's value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise.

Identify and manage long-term relationships with building owners and key partners.

Seek out, qualify and close sales opportunities every month and manage an active pipeline of opportunities.

Focus on improving existing buildings to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives.

Manage ongoing opportunities, mainly focused on selling automation services and retrofits.

Sells and renews service contracts & agreements to new and existing customers, including multi-year contracts.

Building partnerships with the owners, owner's representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale off MMC's building automation service offerings.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or combination of education and experience will be considered.

3+ years of progressive field sales experience.

At least 1 (one) year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system, services or projects.

Excellent verbal, written communication, and professional presentation skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.

Intermediate to advanced proficiencies in building trades including painting, wallpapering, plumbing, seating, and equipment repair. Proficiency in MS Suite. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, food and beverage equipment, seating and all related building components. Oversee vendor activities that include the scheduling of repair and maintenance needs as required; closely monitor progress to ensure quality of work. Provide constant attention to all life safety issues; ensure building emergency systems are operational through in-house inspections and vendor maintenance contracts. Inspect and provide direction and follow-up with janitorial service provider and/or regarding cleaning issues that do not meet AMC standards. Report all facility issues that are not immediately repairable to the theatre General Manager and seek technical support from the AMC Facility Engineer as applicable. Ensure consistent maintenance and repair methods for all building components. Develop routine systems to ensure constant monitoring of problem areas. Work with General Manager to ensure Film Crew procedures support an environment that is clean, safe and in good repair for both associates and guests. Understand and track theatre Variable Operating Expenses (VOE) related to maintenance, repairs, and supplies. Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials. Perform tasks with tools, ladders, and lifts in a safe and effective manner. Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Provide training support for the market as directed.
