Growing together.The T esting Solution Architect is a leader within the Optum Advisory Technology Consulting Practice.Optum is seeking an experienced Test Solution Architect to expand our test capabilities within our Advisory Technology Consulting Practice.Successful candidates will have healthcare systems implementation experience, test strategy and solutioning experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience in leading client presentations. In addition, individuals will have a good understanding of identifying opportunities to automate in the implementation test cycle, experience with test automation tools, expertise in developing automation frameworks and automation strategy, as well as significant experience in leading testing activities across multiple clients.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Developing test strategies for our technology consulting practice, spanning both payer and provider systems implementations

Developing test approach and test plans for large systems implementations, including defining test phases, scope and timing

Evaluate end-to-end systems implementations to determine opportunities for test automation solutions throughout the testing life cycle

Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical teams, to identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives

Coordinate with vendors and other external parties to implement automation solutions

Provide mentorship to a team of testing automation specialists to design, develop, and execute testing automation solutions

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to automation

Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines for testing projects

Test planning, guiding team on test scripts design

Coordination with other teams on test environment and test data

Ensure testing artifacts are consistent and of high quality

Ensure progress of test activities as per plan, adhering to milestones and meeting SLAs

Investigate and diagnose problems, propose and execute solutions

Build consensus among client stakeholders who play a critical role in the client’s ability to successfully implement the identified solutions

Effectively manages engagement scope and proactively communicates with client if/when scope may require adjustment

Perceived as trusted advisor across client organization and able to build deep relationships with senior stakeholders

Provide subject matter expertise on testing automation to other Optum Advisory Services business units, including assessment of project performance

10+ years in systems implementations, with a focus on testing

5+ years developing and implementing test automation solutions

5+ years of experience implementing a large-scale and complex end-to-end systems (ie: payer core claims systems implementations and / or EHR implementations)

Experience working in a healthcare industry

Experience with creating testing artifacts based on requirements and design documents

Expertise on multi- automation tools

Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading test automation teams

Experience in Agile development methodology

Payor or Provider experience

Knowledge of the different life cycle development models and methodologies used to develop large software intensive platforms

Excellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional and Integration Testing

DevOps, CI/CD, Continuous testing environments

Ability to understand existing Test Processes and Plans and identify improvements and efficiencies

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $122,100 to $234,700 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
