Description We are seeking a Privacy and Compliance Manager based in Fridley, Minnesota, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the legal compliance industry. The Privacy and Compliance Manager will be tasked with managing and working with new software systems and technology, and will also be responsible for ensuring data privacy and legal compliance.Responsibilities: Managing and implementing new software systems and technologies related to privacy and compliance. Ensuring that all company procedures and activities are in compliance with legal regulations. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect data privacy. Regularly reviewing and updating company policies in line with changing laws and regulations. Conducting compliance audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Working closely with different departments to ensure the understanding and adherence to privacy and compliance policies. Addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding privacy and compliance. Keeping up to date with changes in the industry and regulatory environment, and adjusting policies and procedures accordingly. Providing training and guidance to staff to enhance awareness and knowledge in compliance. Ensuring that all compliance issues and concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is desired. Relevant certifications in privacy and compliance such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT are preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
