Description Cloud/Network ArchitectDirect Hire, Twin Cities MN - HybridWe are seeking an experienced professional for a technical leadership role in network architecture, based in the Twin Cities. This position involves a blend of hands-on technical work and strategic planning, with a focus on supporting cloud migration and on-premise network infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:

Play a key role in shaping and executing the organization's network and cloud migration strategy.

Maintain a hybrid work schedule with part-time on-site presence to ensure effective communication and operations.

Apply technical expertise in cloud environments, network hardware, and security to maintain and enhance network systems.

Participate in strategic planning, including budgeting and resource allocation, related to network infrastructure.

Identify potential risks and ensure the security and reliability of network architecture.

Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various network-related projects.

Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for network systems and architecture.

Utilize technical skills in areas such as protocol management, system configuration, and performance optimization to drive continuous improvement.

This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic environment, contributing to both hands-on technical work and high-level strategic decisions.Requirements At least 10 years of experience in network architecture or related fields.Strong knowledge of network protocols, including BGP.Experience with testing methodologies, including AB Testing.Solid understanding of hardware systems and their role in network architecture.Proficiency in managing and configuring network systems.Strong understanding of connectivity processes and best practices.Experience with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure.Familiarity with various network technologies and security tools.Expertise in firewall configuration and management.Extensive background in networking and infrastructure management.Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-based environments.Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.Relevant professional certifications are a plus.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
