Job Description: Oversee the daily operations of the motel and ensure guests receive exceptional customer service. Maintain appearance and grounds of motel with a general understanding of light maintenance. Communicate clear and accurate information to upper management.
Daily operations include but are not limited to:
check people in and out
handle CC and petty cash payments
deposit petty cash daily
report motel occupancy
maintain inventory supply levels
manage housekeeping staff
handle online travel agency (OTAs) bookings
answer phone inquiries from potential guests
light preventative maintenance of property and grounds
weekly inspections of property
Requirements:
Ability to speak, read and write fluent English
Ability to work without direct supervision
1-3 years of hospitality experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Possess clear understanding of process and procedures of job
Ability to identify potential problems and act to correct
Possess a positive and self-starter attitude
Ability to stay calm, collected and focused during emergency situations
Posses a stellar customer service mentality
