Job Title: Electrical Automation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Technician for a contract position with the potential for permanent hire. This role focuses on the electrical aspects of custom automated packaging machines. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with electrical systems specific to automated equipment.Responsibilities

Wire electrical panels for custom automated packaging machines

Troubleshoot electrical issues related to automated equipment

Perform I/O checkouts and point-to-point wiring

Conduct machine check-outs, power-ups, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)

Assist with PLC troubleshooting (preferred)

Collaborate with mechanical and machine-building activities if converted to a full-time role

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience with panel wiring and interpreting electrical schematics

3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting for automated equipment

Proficiency in I/O checkouts, point-to-point wiring, machine check-outs, and power-ups

Ability to travel approximately 20% in the future

Must bring personal tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree in Automated Systems and Robotics (preferred)

1+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs (nice to have)

Ability to read and interpret SolidWorks prints (nice to have)

Strong mechanical aptitude (nice to have)
