The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial aspects of our company. This role supports owners, manufacturing & sales in the entry, management, and reporting of financial information. The Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, payroll and other related financial activities.
Essential Responsibilities within our Accounting system - Sage 50:
Perform Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
Responsible for Payroll thru ADP.
Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
Maintain the general ledger.
Set up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
Provides outside accountant with assistance to perform annual tax reporting.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail Oriented.
Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, and SAGE50 accounting software.
At least three years of related experience required.
This position is not eligible for remote working
Pay based on experience - $28 - $35 range/hour
