Accounts Receivable- Credit Office Associate

Credit Office Associate Full Time On-site Position: (M-F 8am to 4:30pm) Bachman’s is committed to creating a caring environment while inspiring a passion for bringing beauty to life. Who is skilled in coordinating with buyers, communicating with vendors, processing inventory freight and allocating to inventory invoices, as well as ensuring accuracy of vendor terms to purchase orders. Receives internal and external credit calls and resolves issues or forwards calls as appropriate.

Provide account information to internal and external customers ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information provided, researching payment and/or credit entries to accounts.

Process customer statements cycles. This includes assisting with printing, matching invoices with statements, stuffing statements, and bringing statements to mail room.

Maintain office files for invoicing, billing, tax exemption certificates, NSF checks, maintain office supplies to ensure sufficient stock of envelopes and statements for Credit department and office supplies for Accounting departments.

Receive all credit applications and ensure they are completed, submit requests for credit reference and follow up as necessary.

Contact customers if remittance advice is missing or incomplete.

Provide and help customers with correct account information, balances, minimum payment due, if credits were applied, etc.

Obtaining tax exception certificates as appropriate and entering into accounts.

Follow up with nonresponding credit references to complete Credit application process.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma and two years of experience in Credit/Collections required.

Must be proficient with a PC, email, spreadsheets, and text documents. Excellent data entry skills.

Ability to work independently and multi-task.

Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.

Strong math and problem-solving aptitude.
