Master Data Specialist - Data Synchronization

 The Master Data Specialist – Data Synchronization plays a crucial role in master data management and governance. This position is managing the creation, review and management of the data-synchronization process from Jack Links to our external customers using tools such as 1WorldSync, Salsify and Syndigo. Tasks include gathering necessary attributes and data from various resources including SAP, Web DAM, Product Life Management (PLM) and others. This role requires ongoing communication internally with Creative Services, Marketing, Project Management, Sales, Operations, IT, Regulatory as well as with external stakeholders to ensure accurate communication of Material Master details, contributing to the success and speed-to-market of new and existing product. The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:Become an expert in the Global Synchronization Network (GDSN) process, including assigning UPC codes and publishing data to our customers through the Global NetworkBecome an expert in 1WorldSync, Salsify and Syndigo process, including data publication not limited to GDSN data, Marketing Content, Images, Nutritional Information, and moreEffective on gathering data from several systems, including SAP, Web Dam, PLM, etc.Responsible for creating and maintaining Customer Master DataEnsure all Customer Master is managed according to the governance processes, policies, and procedures. Communicate with external customers to review all data provided is the most up to date, including confidential informationImplement data validation techniques to ensure that data integrity and quality is of the highest degree based on risk and criticalityResponsible for creating and updating master data to reflect accurate item information including descriptionsEffectively communicate to departments affected by the changes to the Material Master Data Receive and handle data-synchronization requests and questions from other departmentsCultivate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary
