Medical Claims Data Entry Clerk

Description We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk with Medical Claims experience to join our team in the Nonprofit industry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. You will be primarily focused on processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process high volumes of medical claims data entry in a document workflow system. Utilize Microsoft OneNote for reference and special handling of medical claims. Ensure customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records and organize files as necessary. Handle high volumes of email correspondence related to customer inquiries and applications. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to perform calculations and organize data. Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts. Deliver high-quality customer service resolving any issues or inquiries. Utilize 10 Key Skills for data entry and other tasks. Operate scanning equipment for document digitization.Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in data entry and ability to perform calculations Exceptional customer service skills Excellent typing speed and 10 key skills Ability to organize and manage files effectively Proficiency in email correspondence Experience in using scanning equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of confidentiality and integrity Familiarity with the non-profit sector is advantageous High School diploma or equivalent education level Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
