Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in the healthcare industry, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The chosen candidate will become an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, handling reception desk duties, managing mailroom tasks, and addressing employee requests. Responsibilities: Welcome and assist guests, understanding their needs and directing them appropriately Operate multi-line telephone system, directing calls to the right personnel or taking messages as needed Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, both over the phone and face-to-face Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions Manage temporary access badges, ensuring recipients are aware of and follow access policy Process mail, ensuring correct postage for all outgoing mail and sorting incoming mail to the right departments Respond to employee requests using Microsoft Outlook, generating and closing work orders as necessary Assist in creating access badges for employees and contractors Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Comply with all safety and security policies, procedures, and regulationsSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Experience with receptionist duties Basic office skills Experience with answering a multi-line phone system.Requirements Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. Demonstrated experience in receptionist duties. Must have basic office skills. Ability to effectively manage an answering multi-line phone system. Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment would be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Familiarity with medical terminology would be a plus.
