This benefits (https://www.fairview.org/benefits/noncontract) eligible position is a 1.0FTE (80 hours/2 weeks) on the day/evening shift.Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician 1 – Fulfillment is responsible for day-to-day tasks in a complex specialty/mail order pharmacy including delivery ticket fulfillment, restocking, labeling and packaging medications and inventory management.The Pharmacy Technician will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills to support and influence operational objectives.Responsibilities Job DescriptionIn this role, you will:Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure pharmacy patients receive their medication(s) accurately, safely, in accordance with all legal requirements and policies and in a professional and timely manner.Under the direction of the pharmacist, fulfill and prepare prescription orders for delivery in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.Coordinate the ordering and delivery of medications, supplies and equipment to patients and clinical areas as requested.Maintain appropriate stock levels and accurate inventory records, clean work areas, organize supplies, completing cycle counts and reconciling as appropriate.Other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsRequired:Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) training program within first year of employment (we provide this!)Ability to become registered as a technician with the Minnesota Board of PharmacyPreferred:Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) training programPharmacy certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification BoardEEO StatementEEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected statusBenefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!Please follow this link for additional information: https://www.fairview.org/benefits/noncontractCompensation DisclaimerAn individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Qualifications- Ideal Candidates demonstrate a minimum of three years experience as a customer-facing Field Technician. Previous dental experience preferred but not required. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma, or equivalent and demonstrates experience as a customer-facing field technician. Ideal candidate will be proficient with hydraulics, electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, as-well-as diagnostics and troubleshooting to component level. Advanced candidates have a working knowledge of Xray, (including 3d/cone beam/CAT), digital diagnostic equipment, PLCs, digital laboratory equipment and possess general proficiency and desire to work with computers and office based software systems. Other: Strong customer interpersonal skills. High School Diploma, Associates Degree or Technical School Certification is desirable. Must be able to comply with company uniform and dress policy and must be able complete all work related tasks utilizing company provided laptop. Valid driver\'s license required.
