This includes patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalationResponsibilities Job DescriptionIn this position you will improve your skills customer service abilities and gain new pharmacy technician skills while helping patients navigate the complex world of pharmacy prescription set-up and processing. Responsibilities include:
Complete intake process for mail order pharmacy patients including insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.
QualificationsRequired :Experience :One-year customer service experience.License/Certification:Ability to become registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.Completion of an on-the-job American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program within the first year of employment.
