Description Our client, a prominent firm since 1995 in the arena of quality real estate development and management services, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to assist their in-house General Counsel with various tasks. This recognized company is known for enhancing communities through the provision of investment, administration, construction, rental services to a vast commercial and multifamily real estate portfolio.As a Paralegal in this firm, your role will be vital in supporting real estate transactions, corporate record-keeping, lease administration, and other duties. Your tasks will be varied and multi-faceted, offering you a chance to utilize your talents and develop new skills in a dynamic and stimulating work environment.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of drafts of contractual documents including lease and purchase agreements, addendums, closing documents, among others.

Administrator of the company's corporate recordkeeping, including document and file management, written actions, and corporate minutes.

Timely update of reports during sales/acquisitions.

Support to internal departments as necessary such as preparing tenant welcome letters and construction reminders.

Management of transactional due diligence activities and property tax appeal process.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High Degree of professionalism with strong communication skills both inside and outside of the organization.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills along with excellent judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills

Highly organized and able to effectively multitask, juggle competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Computer proficiency required including a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Requirements

Experience/Education Requirements:

An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

A Paralegal certification is essential.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
