Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Part-time 20 hours, Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the Real Estate and Property industry. This role is remote, based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and offers a longer-term contract opportunity. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be instrumental in reorganizing and streamlining financial reporting across multiple business units, supporting a key financial initiative.Responsibilities: Utilize CRM and Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets and perform data adjustments. Extract financial data from existing reporting groups and allocate into newly defined groups. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial reports are accurate and timely. Refine and build interim financial reports to improve reporting efficiency. Use Microsoft Excel for data management, including creating reports and performing V-lookups. Monitor and update financial systems regularly. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making. Work closely with multiple business units to gather data and support financial reporting. Assist in the transition from eight financial reporting groups to 20 more focused groupings.Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Knowledge and experience in expense reporting, including budgeting and forecasting. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to make recommendations based on financial analysis. A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
